¹¹ I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.

¹⁰ Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him: Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. ¹¹ He will feed his flock like a shepherd, he will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and will gently lead those that have their young.

¹⁵ I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord Jehovah.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep ^[a]with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus,

²⁵ For ye were going astray like sheep; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and ^[a]Bishop of your souls.

⁴ And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.

¹⁷ for the Lamb that is in the midst ^[a]of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
